New Project & Further 10 Million Euros Investment in Styria

After another successful business year, PAYER wins a long-term major customer project.

In 2021, PAYER recorded another very successful year in the company’s history. The year was also characterized by numerous investments. In addition to the establishment of a site in Malaysia, production & work areas as well as the laboratory & test infrastructure at the Styrian headquarters were modernized.

A special achievement is the approval of a major project of a strategically important customer in the business unit “Personal Health”. This has a positive impact especially on the Styrian location. As a result, production areas are being expanded and state-of-the-art automation equipment is being purchased. A total of around 10 million euros will be additionally invested in the site within the next two years.

“We are pleased that we were recently able to win another strategically important and long-term project, thus strengthening our Styrian headquarters sustainably,” emphasizes Mag. Michael Viet, CEO of PAYER Group.

Due to the continuous growth of PAYER, personnel as the most important company resource is of great importance. The number of employees in Styria has increased by 20% in the last two years. The company continues to look for personnel, especially in the areas of production, development and engineering.

In the company’s 75th anniversary, PAYER’s commitment was also recognized with two significant awards: 1st place in the category “Internationally active companies” at the Styrian Austria’s Leading Companies Award 2021 and Quality Award as Best Employer Styria 2021 in the category “TOP 5 Employee Retention”.
